Initiated

Today was freshmen initiation! There are nine seniors and nine freshmen on Phhs' varsity soccer team, so everything worked out perfectly. One senior, one freshmen, and a lot of pictures. The seniors had us wear our uniform shorts inside out, one maroon sock, one white, with FLIP FLOPS, our soccer sweatshirt with a penny over it and sports bra over the penny. Sweet, huh? Oh and eyeliner written all over our faces! It wasn't bad though; it was actually really fun, except for one minor incident. MY BIOLOGY TEACHER. Why is he so over protective of his students and conservative? I had him 2nd period, and according to him, I wasn't my "outgoing self". I covered myself as if I was "naked". That's what he emailed to ALL the teachers at our school. He said we were dressed innapropriately for freshmen. First of all, it's a sports bra. People jog in those things. Secondly, I can speak for myself, and I wasn't uncomfortable! Maybe shy at first, but c'mon, wouldn't everyone be? Way to overreact. So the email started everything. Mrs. Harris felt the same way, called my soccer coach, and all of us had to change and remove our crazy make-up. What a day ruiner. I can't wait to confront my biology teacher on Monday, the reason for all of my stress today. On a brighter note, our Sadies dance is tomorrow. However, I'm really starting to worry about not being able to get our uniforms before then. It'll work out the way I plan. I hope.
