I was looking forward to the weekend, looking forward to catching up on my sleep and hanging out, looking forward to everything but bug catching. I have to get a move on my project; it's due May 13th.
Anyway, on Friday, Melani slept over. We talked my brother into taking us out to frozen yogurt. He agreed, and we picked up Brady. Headed to That's Yogurt since it's the closest place and it was too late to try to make it to Yogurtland. We got there around 10:30 only to find out they were closing. The doors were locked, but it didn't keep Brady from turning back to the parking lot. He leaned on the doors and pulled on them, until a worker opened them and said we could be the last customers. Lucky us. Haha. When we got home, Mel and I just talked and caught up on three episodes of 90210. They were gooood. Went to bed around 3? Woke up late and went bug catching at the creek. Caught like 5 damselflies, a leaf hopper, a water treader and some other bug. Went home, and my mom got us bambu. I showered then Mel left. Went out to dinner with my family for my mom's and uncle's birthdays at The Great Basin, a restuarant in Saratoga. Watched the Sharks game showing at the bar. It was so intense! Luckily, the Sharks won 3-2 after a sudden death overtime. They have to win the next two games; it's do-or-die.
On Sunday, I slept in. Picked up Melanie and headed to Valley Fair around 3. Picked up a few things at the mall, but not a lot since it closes at six on Sundays. And did you know that Vfair closes at 9 on weekdays too? They shortened it 30 minutes due to the economy. -_- On a brighter note, my mom took us to bambu since Melanie's never had it before. Dropped her off and headed home. Melani's sleeping over again tonight since school starts at 10:30 tomorrow! Star 9 testing isn't something to look forward to though. Mel just left my house to go to Thaddeus' house but she's gonna come back later. So for now, I'm just talking to my orangutan, Kelsey who's indenial and Brandon who's entering the talent show. It was a pretty relaxing weekend. School starts late and ends early, can't waaaaaait.
