The boredom one feels when she has nothing to do and can't sleep leads her to the joys of blogging at 1:45 am...that would be me.
So! Could my day get any more eventful? I woke up at 8:15, went shopping with my mom at Valley Fair, shopped (of course), went to Fantastics practice (not really practice, but that's ok!), went home, dined at Flames for dinner with the girls, shark game with the girls!
And the best part of my day: OILERS SUCK! GO HOME!
I went to the Sharks game with Melani, Jennifer, Alyson, Melani's little brother and sister, Jennifer's little brother and Melani's mom. Big crowd, eh? We parked across the street from the HP Pavilion, worked our way pass the teals and the blacks (GO SHARKS!), and got seated at 7:10. We sat in front of Oiler fans, and let them know our opinions of them. (: It was my first NHL game, did I mention that? I was tired on the way there, a bit rude if i do say so myself, but I got excited once I was in the stadium. So, the game started, and everything went by smoothly..except the fact that we were losing 2-1. 2nd period began, and we were up 3-2?
I don't really remember, but man...I have never seen so many fights in my life! Melani said she doubted that there would be any fights at this particular game, so it kinda bummed me out. Luckily, I didn't have to worry about seeing one, since they occured about every 5 minutes in the 2nd period. There were about what..6 fights? 2 big ones and 4 minor. It made it so much more entertaining! Jonathon Cheechoo! #14. Man, he isn't bad looking. Alyson and Melani are in love with the guy, and Melani even has his jersey. Maybe I should join his fan club. Hah! So please don't trade him! Anyway, the final score was 4-2, sharks being the winners. TAKE THAT, oilers! I have a feeling my voice might be gone tomorrow morning..or later this morning I should say. I yelled way more than my throat could grasp, but that's okay. (= The game didn't end until a little after 10. It was so intense, and I'm definitely gonna watch another one of their games! *"We'll be season ticket holders." Overall, it was an extremely fun night with the girls. Who cares if we missed the new episode of 90210!
