One Year Older

Today was my birthday, and I really wasn't looking forward to it AT ALL. There's so much drama around the holidays, and my birthday just turns out to be one week before them. I was stressed over my procrastination on Christmas presents, my birthday party, upcoming finals and my piles and piles of homework. Yet, through all of the distractions, I managed to squeeze in time for my frequent blogging.

I didn't wake up early since I was excited. I woke up at the usual - 6:20 except this time I woke up to more text messages than usual. Got dressed through the mixed responses from my friends. "It's supposed to be sunny this morning." "Oh my god, it's going to be so ugly; it's going to hail." Wtheck! Went to school and it was pretty sunny but WINDIER than ever. Jennifer got me GIANT balloon and a little one that I could hold in my hand :) Aly got me 4 balloons and one had my name on it; I've never seen that before. ;D And Mel got me a giant see-through star with other balloons held down by candy. She knows I love love candy! Hah, and she baked me a beautifullllll funfetti cake that spelled my name in life savers. Can you say yummmmmy? And Christina & Rach each baked me cakes too. Thank god that was all for today. Elaine said she'd give me my cake belated, but I'm really sick of them at the moment. I gave two to the vultures at lunch who just dug in with their hands. Mr. Kregear, my biology teacher, wrote, "Happy Birthday Linh" on his board =P What a way to broadcast it. Lol. And walking through the halls with the balloons was NOT fun; I kept hitting people on accident D: Glad that it's all over.

I had soccer game in Morgan Hill, so the soccer girls and I left school early. GOOD BYE MATH CLASS! Lol, we won 2-0, and it was freezing! Now I'm home and about to start my homework. My brothers should come home with the Christmas tree soon. Finally. So far so good. (=
