Taste The Rainbow

^was the name of our dance last night. Piedmont Hill's first dance of the school year. Of course I went. I don't really care what people say. "Dude. The first dance's always the crappiest" "No one's going. My brother told me only the freshmans go to the first dance." My response to pretty much every one of those was, "Well how do you know if you've never gone to one?"

Anyways, the dance was fun! Well, at least, I had a blast. Well, not a blast blast. But I was satisfied. Any event with lots of people dancing to good music has to be fun, right? It wasn't what I expected, but I really didn't know what to expect out of a high school dance. There was a lot of freaking. lmao. They stopped the music to tell the students they were getting out of hand. People were booing of course. But once the music went back on, it's not like we listened to the person speaking, so the announcement was pretty much pointless.

Hrm, it was really really hot. Goodness gracious. Lots of dancing in a confined area = sweaty, nasty little Asian girl. Hah! Everyone was grabbing each other, trying to get some! Lol. I'd have to say the dancing at Piedmont Middle wasn't much different though. :D

The only downfall at the dance was that Melani couldn't go because she was/still is on crutches. I don't even know if she would have danced though, since she's really not into dancing infront of a crowd. But I wish she came. It would have been my first dance with my best friend since we didn't go to the same middle school. Ah whatever. That's why we have homecoming! :] Oh & another landslide was that they didn't clarify what time the dance would end. The permission slip said 8-11pm; they ended it at 10:30 to give students 30 minutes to leave the school. Makes sense, yeah? But poeple..oh my god. Hella overreacted, but I was pretty angry myself! "I want my fucking money back!" was what I kept hearing. Haha.

WHAT A NIGHT. ;]
